I am a User Experience Designer who has a background in Computer Science & Engineering. My interest in creating precise and visually appealing designs began during my high school art classes, where I developed a taste for pixel-perfect work. My natural artistic ability and my passion for design pushed me to pursue a career in the field.
I became interested in UX Design through participating in hackathons and completing internships during my undergraduate studies, which helped me discover my passion for this field. I found that I derived more satisfaction from resolving issues that users were experiencing, as opposed to debugging technical problems. This realization led me to make the decision to transition from programming for machines to designing for humans as a professional.
I’m currently looking for full-time opportunities starting immediately. I graduated from a Public Ivy, The University of Texas at Austin with a Master’s Degree in Information Studies, specializing in User Experience Design & Research and Human-Computer Interaction.
Currently, I’m based in Austin, Texas, but originally from Gujarat, India. Moving to Austin after living my entire life in South Asia has been a fortunate opportunity to learn new skills while expand my worldview. Being an international student has challenged how I think about solving problems, how to inspire from my peers, and when to approach mentors for guidance.
Whether it's hitting the dance floor or engaging in a game, I am always up.
During my leisure time, I enjoy engaging in organizing stuff, exploring things, and practicing meditation.
